El Gobierno Nacional dio a conocer que dio por terminado el cese al fuego con las disidencias de las FARC y ordenó una ofensiva total.
El Gobierno Nacional, a través del Ministerio de Defensa, informó que da por terminado el cese al fuego con todos los bloques y frentes que integran el antes denominado ‘Estado Mayor Central’ de las disidencias de las Farc, que se encuentra bajo el mando de alias ‘Iván Mordisco’.
Por ello, Iván Velásquez, ministro de Defensa fue quien reveló la decisión del Gobierno Nacional de frenar el cese al fuego. Esta información la dio durante una rueda de prensa. También, destacó de llevar a cabo una “ofensiva total” contra las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC).

De igual manera, desde el Gobierno Nacional aclararon que el denominado ‘cese al fuego’ se va a mantener un tiempo de tres meses; y con tres bloques específicos de esas disidencias. Los bloques son: Gentil Duarte, Jorge Suárez Briceño y el frente Raúl Reyes.
Además, la medida del cese al fuego que se mantendrá con los tres frentes, igualmente será para los departamentos de: Antioquia, Bolívar, Caquetá, Huila, Meta, Norte de Santander y Putumayo.

Por ello, el ministro de Defensa Iván Velásquez, resaltó que se adelantarán ofensivas contras esos frentes que se apartaron de la oferta del gobierno.
“Respecto de todas las otras organizaciones que se denominaban Estado Mayor Central, la orden impartida a las fuerzas militares es adelantar operaciones ofensivas contra esas frentes que se apartaron de la oferta que continuaba manteniendo el Gobierno Nacional en la búsqueda de la paz”, indicó Iván Velásquez.
