El presidente Gustavo Petro ha señalado a grandes empresas del sector transporte, como G4S, Atlas y Logicem, por aprovechar subsidios al diésel. Estas compañías, que lideran el mercado, se encuentran en el centro del reciente paro camionero.
En medio del paro camionero que ya lleva cinco días, el presidente Gustavo Petro lanzó críticas contra las principales empresas de transporte de carga del país, señalando que el paro tiene “oscuros intereses económicos o políticos”. La decisión del Gobierno Nacional de suspender los subsidios al diésel ha sido la principal causa de las protestas, afectando a miles de trabajadores y compañías en el sector transporte.

Entre las empresas que más han sacado provecho de estos subsidios, según informes de la Superintendencia de Sociedades, se encuentran G4S Cash Solutions Colombia Ltda, Transportadora de Valores Atlas Ltda, Logicem S.A.S, Servi Oil DTC S.A.S. e Inversiones Pasto S.A.S. Estas compañías, que dominan el transporte de carga por carretera, son el blanco de los señalamientos del mandatario.
Empresas de transporte lideres en Colombia
La empresa G4S Cash Solutions Colombia Ltda tiene sede en Bogotá, es la más grande del sector, registrando ingresos operacionales de $218.879 millones en 2023. Además de su actividad en el transporte de carga, G4S también presta servicios de seguridad privada, empleando a más de 11.000 personas en el país.
La segunda compañía es Transportadora de Valores Atlas Ltda, se encuentra en Cali, es otra de las grandes jugadoras. Esta empresa, dedicada tanto al transporte de valores como a la seguridad privada, reportó ingresos de $156.108 millones en el último año. Bajo la dirección de Ricardo Felipe Quintero López, la empresa ha logrado consolidarse con más de 500 empleados y medio siglo de experiencia en el mercado.
Logicem S.A.S., una compañía barranquillera, se especializa en el transporte multimodal y ha sido clave para el movimiento de productos como cemento y concreto. En 2023, reportó ingresos de $67.741 millones. Dirigida por Nelson José Palacio, esta empresa trabaja de la mano con importantes clientes como Cerro Matoso y Carvajal Pulpa y Papel.
Por su parte, Servi Oil DTC S.A.S., con sede en Medellín, ha destacado por su actividad en el comercio de combustibles y el transporte de carga, generando ingresos de $65.589 millones.
Finalmente, Inversiones Pasto S.A.S., la más pequeña del grupo, también figura en el listado con ingresos de $30.027 millones en 2023. La empresa, dirigida por Pablo Emilio Chaves Rodríguez, opera en diversas áreas, como el mantenimiento de vehículos y la comercialización de productos lácteos.
El presidente Petro ha manifestado su interés en regular estas grandes empresas, señalando que se han beneficiado de los subsidios al diésel que ahora están en el centro del conflicto con los transportadores. Mientras tanto, el sector empresarial se encuentra a la espera de posibles negociaciones que pongan fin al paro y estabilice la situación del transporte de carga en el país.
